Sorry that it has been soo long since I have made a post. My Mom came in town for a couple of weeks so we just spent our time with her. I can't believe it but Heather is moving near the end of November and could use some help packing her house and watching the kids. Sounds like a great mommy and me activity. So if anyone is aviliable on Wednesday at 10:30am please come. Some of us well be there to help.

Pumpkin Project

So next week we are going to do an art project with paint. So bring cloths that you are ok with getting dirty. All ages I think well be able to participate. I have paint so don't worry about that. We'll be painting a pumpkin patch. All you do is paint you child's palm orange and then paint there middle finger green and stamp it down and you have a pumpkin!! Just bring your own media that you want to paint your little pumpkin hands on. I personally want to use this for decoration so I am going to get some wood. You can get scrape wood at Lows or Home Depo for cheap. When I have done it before it has been like a dollar. If you just want to do a peace of paper that works to. We'll do this next Friday on the 10th at my house 11:00. Hopefully this gives you enough time to get you art materials. If this time or date doesn't work for people just let me know and we can change it.

Botanical Garden

The La Verne Library was so much fun, what a cute program. I think Taryn and I are going to be regulars. But anyways I for our next mommy and me we wanted to go to the Botanical Garden at the Claremont College. Hopefully they'll have the turtles out and ducks so bring your bread crumbs. We are going to go on tuesday at 9:00 in the morning so we hope to see you all there!!

So it looks like the La Verne Library has their story time at Noon on Fridays and it also said that the have an art carft time after story timesounds Like fun to me!! Hopefully we'll see you all there on friday the 26

LaVern Library

So next week for anyone who wants to come we are going to go down to the LaVern public Library and try to make it for there story time. We need to call in and find out the date and time so I'll do that tomorrow and post it. If anyone has anything that they would like to do for a mommy and me get together just let me know and we well do that activity.

Thank you for everyone who came out to our second mommy and me and thank you to Madeline for sharing her knowledge about food storage and canning. Not only did our kids play and have a snake/lunch the Mommys we busy with cutting up carrots to freeze for a food storage. I hope that everyone had fun. I took some pictures on my camera phone to post but I can't figure out how to put them on my computer so sorry about that.
